On selected dates, Farhat Jah
(www.farhatjah.com) will be leading small groups of photographers around his Pemba. Using the infrastructure of Swahili Divers, the groups will begin their tour in the North of Pemba accommodated in
the Kervan Saray Beach Lodge. Kervan Saray Beach is perfectly situated to explore the Ngezi Forest, Ras Kigomasha and
Micheweni. The group would then re-locate to Chake Chake. Here a trip to the world famous Misali Island is on the agenda. (Underwater photographers can do two photo dives for a minimal surcharge). After a visit to the East Coast, the tour will spend a night in the basic but quaint Jondeni Lodge in
Mkoani, Southern Pemba. From here a ferry or plane will transfer the group to Zanzibar for one night in the Shangani Hotel, a brief stone town shoot and a grand farewell dinner.
Dawn starts, high and low tide shoots, forest walks, birding, sunset shoots, village encounters are all par for the course. Farhat Jah will be available to advise, point, translate, help and listen at all times.
Dar es Salaam has excellent C41 and E6 processing facilities, and Pemba has reasonable E41 developing.
We will have E6 facilities shortly.
